In The Heights Tickets

   The new hit musical In The Heights has finally hit the stage with a large appeal.  The story explores the lives of some people in a New York – Dominican-American neighborhood in Washington Heights.  With a high amount of concentration of different cultures and ethnicities in such a small space much is to be seen.  In this score the musical features many different musics including Merengue, Soul, and hip-hop.   Welcome to the show that certainly won Broadways hearts.

  This kind of a musical only appears once per generation.  With all the different cultures in this New York setting it stuns the watcher.  No wonder this musical has been nominated for thirteen different Tony Awards and also won the Tony Award for best overall musical.  When watching this musical you will be in the lives of the people.  With the coffee house around the corner whisping its sweet smell and as the rhythem of three generations of music enters the streets.  

  One of the largest struggles with watching this musical is deciding which traditions to take along and which ones not to.  The musical was based off the book by Quiara Alegria Hudes and the lyrics were created by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
